More Free Form Curves

It is very nice to work without a templates or defined block structures ... so this technique of free form curves joined into strips is great fun to sew ... this is my first sample using a Reece Scannell cotton with a batik..........

There was a bit of drag/distortion when I quilted .... so think it would have been worth ditching the horizontal lines to hold it firm.  I added a little bit of big stitch quilting in yellow, just for fun!

Definitely got potential for a great quilt .... perhaps with lots of different fabrics in place of the batik.  It could also make a very interesting background for applique....
